Brion lost 0:2 to kt Rolster in the first match on the 15th day of the ‘2023 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)’ Spring Split held at Jonggak Lol Park on the 5th. Brion coach Choi Woo-beom expressed regret over today’s game, but sternly said that the issue of camp selection that occurred right before the first set was something that should not be played in a professional game.
Below is the full text of the interview with Brion director Choi Woo-beom.
Q. How would you rate today’s match?
Director Choi Woo-beom: Missing the first set is a loss. In the second set, communication was not good, so we lost in the messenger fight. If there’s one thing I’m worried about, if I miss a game I always had an advantage in, it’ll affect the next game a lot. I think you need to fix that part.
Q. I was notified of the selection of the 1st set camp.
Director Choi Woo-beom: First of all, there is no mistake on our side. This was a fatal mistake, and we proceeded with the game thinking that we had no choice but to compete with our skills due to the situation on the field. However, personally, I think it is a mistake that should not come out of a professional game. Losing may sound like an excuse, but this should not happen in the future. I found out about the change of camp 30 minutes before the start of the game. 온라인바카라
It’s not like I’m doing anything wrong, but as a team manager and someone who works in esports, I’m ashamed that this is happening. I think it’s too big to simply apologize and move on.
Q. The patch version will change from the next game.
Coach Choi Woo-beom: It’s hard to predict since we haven’t played scrims yet with the next patch version.
Q. What do you want to say at the end?
Coach Choi Woo-beom: It’s a pity that we lost a game where we had an advantage in the first set. 2nd set is a complete loss. I will definitely fix the bad parts and repay you with good performance. I am always grateful to the fans who supported me.
