‘Including Shin Young-woo and Lee Jun-ho’ NC 1st team camp 43 people participated… Evaluation match with the WBC national team

The NC Dinos head to Tucson, Arizona, USA for CAMP 2 (NC Spring Camp) on the 29th and begin full-scale quenching for the 2023 season. 11 coaching staff including coach Kang In-kwon and 43 players will participate, and it is a 39-day schedule from February 29th to March 8th.

This CAMP 2 starts with self-training on January 31st and runs until February 15th with 3 days of training and 1 day of rest. Afterwards, from February 16th, a total of 6 evaluation matches will be held with the WBC national team (1 time), KIA Tigers (2 times), and KT Wiz (3 times) to check the sense of practice.

A large number of new faces were added to the CAMP 2 participant list. Catchers Park Se-hyeok and Han Seok-hyun (Futures FA), who joined under a free agent (FA) contract, and Ahn Jung-yeol and Jeon Chang-min, who joined as free agent compensation players, were named, and 2023 rookies Shin Young-woo and Lee Jun-ho were also included. 안전놀이터

The CAMP 2 emblem was also unveiled. It was designed with the concept of a passport stamp with meaning in that it was overseas training for the first time in three years. The oval shape of the emblem was inspired by the shape of the US entry stamp, and Tucson’s symbolic elements such as cacti, mountain ranges and the sun were included inside.

Team C (NC Futures Team) will start CAMP 2 in Changwon from February 1st with 10 coaching staff including coach Gong Pil-seong and 43 players. Following physical and technical training for a month in February, team tactical training will be held, and from March 2nd, we will have evaluation matches with Doosan, LG, SSG, Hanwha, and Samsung.
