Kyrie Irving, who had a lot of talk and a lot of trouble, is finally leaving the Brooklyn Nets. The new destination is Luka Doncic’s Dallas Cowboys.
ESPN, an American sports media, reported on the 6th that Irving would be traded from Brooklyn to Dallas. This news came two days after the news of the trade request came out.
Dallas took a pretty big bleed in exchange for Irving and Markif Morris. Dallas will give Dorian Finney-Smith and Spencer Dinwiddie a first-round pick in the 2029 draft and a second-round pick in the 2027/2029 draft to Brooklyn. 토토사이트
Irving is one of the leading guards in the NBA. He was voted an All-Star only eight times. He continues to perform well this season with averages of 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
However, outside of his basketball skills, his frequent mistakes and eccentricities hindered the team. He was also unable to compete after refusing the Corona 19 vaccine, and recently added controversy by promoting an anti-Semitic film.
Previously, Irving requested a trade from Brooklyn, and the trade was completed in two days. Dallas was one of the teams interested in Irving.
According to ESPN, Dallas general manager Nico Harrison has known Irving since his days as a Nike executive, and Dallas manager Jason Kidd is known to have supported the trade as well. Doncic is also said to have agreed to the trade.
