Klinsmann’s June A match opponent, Peru, has already arrived in South Korea to prepare for the match. Paolo Guerrero, a legendary Peruvian striker who played with Son Heung-min at Hamburg, has also made an appearance.

The South Korean national soccer team, 먹튀검증 coached by Jürgen Klinsmann, will take on Peru in a friendly scheduled for June 16 at 8 p.m. at Busan Asiad Stadium. Peru, ranked 21st in the FIFA rankings as of June 2023, will use all available players against South Korea.

Peru, coached by Juan Reynoso, arrived in South Korea on Nov. 11 via Amsterdam. With some international players not yet on board, the Peruvian squad did not head straight to Busan for the match. They arrived in South Korea first and have been training at the Goyang Sports Complex under Reynoso’s leadership to prepare for the upcoming match against South Korea.

The biggest issue for the Peruvians is the call-up of veteran backup Guerrero, who turned 39 this year. It’s been two years since he’s been called up to the national team since 2021. Despite his absence, Guerrero will play a key role in the upcoming match against South Korea. According to South American outlet ESPN Deportes, Reynoso said, “I’m excited to have Guerrero back. He is a symbol of our team and our captain,” Reynoso said in welcoming Guerrero back.

Guerrero also has a connection to South Korean national soccer team captain Son Heung-min. During Son’s time at Hamburg, Guerrero was his attacking partner on several occasions. The two played together for three years, and Guerrero praised Son’s talent during his visit to Peru in 2013. He’s now a global superstar who has surpassed Guerrero’s formative years, so it will be a very emotional match for him.
