Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ricky Rubio (33) is returning.
‘ESPN’ reported on the 12th (Korean time) that Rubio plans to return from the game against the Portland Trail Blazers on the 13th.
If Rubio trains before the game without any problems, he is scheduled to participate in an away match against Portland held at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, USA on the 13th. Return in almost a year after an anterior cruciate ligament rupture injury in December 2021.
Rubio moved to Cleveland from the Minnesota Timberwolves through a trade in August 2021. He averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.4 steals in 34 games before his injury.
In February of last year, when he was recovering, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers again, but in July of the same year, he returned with a three-year, $18 million contract with Cleveland.
Rubio will contribute as part of a guard rotation alongside Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland. He will be teaming up again with Mitchell, a close teammate from his days in Utah.
