Women’s professional volleyball’s Lee Da-young joins French league’s Bolero…vying for starting setter role

Lee Da-young (26) has joined Bolero Le Canet of the French women’s professional volleyball league.

The Bolero team announced on Tuesday 먹튀검증 (June 10), “We are pleased to announce the signing of 179 cm tall setter Lee Da-young. Lee’s experience will be beneficial to the team.”

Lee, a former setter for the South Korean women’s national volleyball team, was suspended from the Korean Professional Volleyball V League in February 2021 after she was named as a perpetrator of school violence.

Lee began her overseas career playing for PAOK in the Greek A1 League in 2021-2022 and then spent the 2022-2023 season playing for Rapid Bucharest in the Romanian professional volleyball league.

After an injury-plagued 2022-2023 season, Lee moved to Bollero, France, where she competed for the starting setter position with 2004-born Victoria Kovsar (Russia).
